I'm Ready for Baywatch!, December 24, 2009

For my 2nd birthday I got to go to a really fun place called Hawaii! I loved playing on the beach because there was lots of sand and water.

The hotel we stayed at also had a train that I could ride and NaiNai took me on it and we rode for 2 hours!

It's almost my birthday, which means it's almost Christmas. I asked Santa to make a special early delivery for Mommy and Daddy this year, so here I am under: under the tree. I hope they wake up soon and find me. I'm hungry!

Yummy Yummy Turkey! - Thursday, November 27, 2008

My first Thanksgiving! (On the outside). Holly and her parents came over along with NaiNai and YeiYei and we had so much yummy food. Mommy made me a special sweet potato and crushed walnut dish and I tried lots of different foods, including Turkey of course. I liked the corn a lot, but I still like my O's the best!

I was real good and went to bed right after dinner so that Mommy, Daddy and our guests could eat their four different desserts in peace. I can't wait until next year when I can eat more!

Trick or Treat! - Thursday, October 30, 2008

Today was my first Halloween! Well, sort of. It's not Halloween yet but Mommy and Daddy's work was having a Halloween party today for all the kids. I dressed up as a penguin and got to see lots of other kids and lots of my aunts and uncles.

Even though I don't get any candy yet, I had a really good time. The best part is, Mommy made my costume for me! Except for the feet, which Daddy made.

Here I Come! - Tuesday, October 20, 2008

Remember that last post I made where I said I had crawled a bit? Well I figured it out completely now!

All I have to do is move my legs! I even figured out how to make it up the stairs!

Growing & Learning - Thursday, October 2, 2008

Two weeks ago I had my 9 month checkup. I weighed 20 pounds and 6.5 ounces. That puts me at about the 50th percentile for weight, but I'm now at 89th percentile for height! But more interestingly, I've been learning all sorts of new tricks. In just the last 10 days, I've started sticking out my tongue, pointing with my index finger, clapping my hands, pulling up to standing, sitting up from tummy-down position, walking while holding on to furniture (well, just a couple steps), and I even crawled a bit today!

Today was also my first day at daycare. I go to the same daycare as Zachary. So far I really like it! The people are nice, and there are lots of toys and other kids to play with.

Daddy's Birthday - Monday, September 8, 2008

It was Daddy's birthday so Mommy and I took him to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I was extra good so that Daddy could watch the otters (he really likes them!).

I really liked the Blue Tangs! Daddy says that there's a movie called "Finding Nemo" and that there's a fish in the movie named Dory that is a Blue Tang, but I don't get to watch movies for another year.

First Haircut! - Saturday, August 30, 2008

Everyone really likes my hair, but it was getting too long and getting in my eyes so Mommy had to cut it.



Don't worry! I still have lots of hair.

First Vacation! - Saturday, August 9, 2008

It was NoNo Ayi's birthday so we got to go to North Carolina and stay at a beach house! This meant that I got to ride on a plane for the first time!



I was very good and didn't cry at all, even though Daddy says babies cry all the time on planes.

The beach was lots of fun, but the ocean scared me a lot! I dipped my feet in the sand and water a bit, but I think I like walking on carpet more!



I also had lots of fun with my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandma and grandpa.




I hope we get to go on lots more trips soon!

I can officially roll over now, all on my own!



In other news, I had my 6 month checkup today, and I weigh 17 pounds and 7.5 ounces! I also ate bananas for the first time today. What a big day!
